Tagaytay - April 3, 2010

Tagaytay road trip on Charm's birthday
(or if you like to make it is sound bad: last Black Saturday or if you like to make it sound far worse: Charm's nth birthday)

It was a combination of steady chill and fun.

First stop: Starbucks Tagaytay
I took an amazing photo of these lovers friends. And oh! That's the most expensive lighter you could ever find!

Second stop: Picnic Grove

Zipline was scary fun - -
If you're after the thrill, try the superman position. If you're after the view, sitting is a better option
with the most awkward pose ever (smiling while hanged hundreds of feet in the air)

So after we claimed our magnificent zipline photos, there were records of our failed jump shots like this

Countless jumps into it and an almost broken knee (ahemCHARMahem), we came to this successful final shot

Final Stop: Leslie's Restaurant

Bulalo is a must-try!

Interestingly, this is installed in their washroom

On a rare occasion, we found ourselves behind Leslie's seeing Taal spitting lava - the view was awesome and the weather was steady chill (photo grabbed from here)

On our way home, Kenna made a little birthday surprise for Charm during our SLEX  stopover. Suh-weet twenty seventh for the celebrator!

To sum it up, it was a fun, thrillin, chill experience. Tagaytay has always been a nice Summer destination choice provided the fact that it's just an hour or two from Manila.
